Deleting your TalkToYouSoon account
This page exists because Google Play requires every app that supports account creation to publish a web page explaining how to delete that account. It describes TalkToYouSoon, published by Ofek Rotem.
Deletion is available inside the app and takes effect immediately. You do not need to email anyone, and there is no waiting period.
Delete your whole account
- Open TalkToYouSoon and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm when asked.
The app signs you out and the account is gone. There is no grace period and no recovery — if you sign in again afterwards with the same Google or Apple ID, you get a new, empty account.
Delete one person instead
If you only want to remove somebody rather than close your account, open that person from the Dashboard and choose Delete. The contact and every conversation you logged with them are removed. Your account and everyone else stay as they are.
What deleting your account removes
Everything we hold that is about you, in one operation:
- your profile, including your name and email address;
- every contact you added — names, phone numbers, email addresses, how often you wanted to talk, and any notes you wrote;
- every interaction you logged, with its date, channel and note;
- your reminder settings and quiet hours;
- your subscription record on our side;
- the sign-in record itself, so the account no longer exists.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone rather than on our servers, so they disappear with the app's own data when you delete the account or uninstall the app.
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing is retained on a timer. There is no soft-delete and no archived copy waiting to expire; the rows are deleted, not hidden. The retention section of the Privacy Policy is the authoritative statement and says the same.
- Your purchase record with Apple or Google belongs to them, not to us. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in the App Store or Google Play, or it will keep renewing. Their own records are governed by their policies.
- Anonymous, aggregated analytics that cannot be tied back to you may remain in product metrics.
If you cannot use the app
If you have lost access to the device or cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.
